Hello friend, I'm Alice — I'm an independent illustrator and muralist! As a Bay Area native, I am based in San Francisco. I'm currently an artist in residence at Pebblebed and a member at Clayroom SF.
I want to create work with heart, purpose, and originality, with collaborators and for communities who value the same things. Some of my favorite projects include my interactive mural installation for the Asian Art Museum titled "Together, Let's Be ____", the participatory installation "Dear Future Me" at the XOXO Festival, and contributing to Elizabeth Warren's 2020 presidential campaign as part of her guest artist series. I host a drawing show with Adobe called Doodle Therapy. My drawing streams for Adobe have totaled over 200k+ views, and you can watch & draw along here. And if you're in San Francisco, you might've seen my murals around the Bay Area for projects with National Geographic, Philz Coffee, Slack, SJ Walls (Worldwide Walls / formerly Pow! Wow! San Jose), and more.
Previously, I joined Dropbox as an early product designer and second illustrator on the team. Before that, I studied at the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School. Business school to art may be an unusual journey, but I think it's helpful to have a healthy skepticism towards the expectations of the status quo, whether it's attending the "right school" or having the "right credentials." After all, we're all, in our own ways, simply striving to reach the center.

I honor and acknowledge that the land we now know as San Francisco is the ancestral and unceded territory of the Ramaytush Ohlone people, the original stewards of this land.
