I was honored to be invited to paint one of the inaugural murals for the new Ocean Beach Park (now known as Sunset Dunes). My mural is of two barn swallows flitting together before parting again — just like how the new park is a place for so many of these small moments between people passing by.

This mural was extremely challenging — the location was beautiful as well as physically demanding with hot days, windy days, and foggy days. As someone born and raised in the Bay Area who has been coming to Ocean Beach since I was a kid with my family, it was an honor to get to paint something for the city.
