Illustrations for Macys
This is a collection of projects I've done for annual events at Macy's, from the Flower Show, AAPI heritage month, humane society holiday windows, and more.

Macy's Flower Show
The Macy's Flower Show is a campaign that occurs every year, where stores across the country are delightfully transformed into amazing floral wonderlands. When I was a student in college, I remember going in to the flagship Macy's in NYC on 34th Street and marveling at illustrator Chris Buzelli's incredible branded illustration campaign for them that year.

It was an honor to be asked by Macy's to create a three-part series of illustrations for the Flower Show at the SF flagship. In this series, I've delved into a floral storybook narrative where these characters are in a Wonderland-esque garden, filled with psychedelic colors and fantastical florals.
Sketch concepts for the Flower Show series, going from ground-level of the garden to the very top.

Holiday Windows
Every year, Macy's San Francisco has a tradition wherein they partner with the SPCA, one of the oldest animal welfare organizations and pet rescues in the world, and feature adorable adoptable puppies, kitties, and bunnies in the windows of their stores for a weekend.

As someone who loves animals and is also the owner of a rescue pup, this project was especially meaningful to me and I loved being a part of it. I illustrated these curious pets playing around in a glamorous closet. Of course, these are also all my dream shoes, too.
AAPI
Heritage
Month
I made this graphic for Macy's annual APAHM event, at which chef Kristin Kish gave a talk and I did live drawing portraits. I drew myself along with my rescue pup, Mochi!

Fall Fashion
For their annual Fall Fashion campaign, Macy's stores put on an in-store fashion presentation (ie. a small fashion show), and asked me to create an illustration featuring a squad of fashion girls. I had a lot of fun inventing my dream outfits for this, taking cues from some of my favorite lines in the past — spot the Miu Miu shoes!

I also did live drawing at the flagship Macy's San Francisco store in Union Square. For this, we removed one of the fashion girls, and I'd draw customers' full-length portraits as part of the line-up!
